Lets start with the hot topic of the moment--The Dreaded Global Warming

OK lets start with some facts. Global warming is not a myth, or a government plot to extract more money out of us, they already have far more ingenious ways of doing that. I really get annoyed when prominent figures like Jeremy Clarkson ridicule all the work Environmentalists do to promote awareness of this problem.

I can feel myself losing a large of part of you already. But please bear with me a moment.
If you care about your, your kids and grandkids etc future, read on.

OK, well I want to point you to a web site, not some "yogurt knitting" environmentalist site, but the UK's main meteorological site. Here you will see a series of graphs that illustrate how the Earths temperature has fluctuated over the last 100 years or so from records. The scary part is, when you run a computer model showing predictions of what should of been happening when you take everything into consideration, ie solar activity etc, but exclude mankinds influence, it runs pretty true for most of the last century. That is until the last 20 years. At this point the recorded data and the computer simulation vary by a huge degree. However if you take mans influence into account then suddenly the model and the recorded data match. Don't believe me, well please take a look for yourself. I have shown this to many sceptics and each one has been suprised by the data.

The top one is FAQ's the second climate change myths explained. Both have the graphs for you to compare.

This is a huge topic that will be discussed more fully. But for now I just want to get as many people as possible to acknowledge that Yes, there is an issue here that needs addressing PDQ. If anyone has any data that could be of interest please let me know.
Thanks Rick

Whats it all about

Hi there, Well I'm new to blogging so expect this to be rough and ready untill I get my act together.

A bit about what I have in mind.

This site is about us, you and me, our future and our kids and their kids future
I want to discuss the pro's and cons of developments and area's of reseach that could funamentaly affect us, the human race.

Its about global warming, its about cosmic defense and exploration, its about global politics
and the need for a global goverment, its about creating a common voice.

In short its about anything that affects humans future development and survival

I want suggestions on how we can solve some fundamental problems facing mankind.

Untimately I hope we can get enough of us to agree on what needs to be done and help convince those in a postion of power of the need to act.

I hope people will find this an interesting topic, and maybe one day we might make a difference

Come back soon for more. Any suggestions on how I can develope this site are more than welcome. Also any views about any of the above topics are welcome.

Hope to hear from you Soon

Rick
